Also, we are always looking for new acts to play up this way. I'd love some to get some ska up here and dilute the emo / harcore crap.

bandbio:
We're from Utica, originally formed in 2002 and have endured 2 major lineup
changes since then. Each member has been heavily involved in Utica and/or
Syracuse local music since even before POY was started and have been in bands
such as Stop 7, Now Hiring Losers and the Arlo Story. We've played many current
and former hot spots in the Utica area numerous times, including Captain Tripps
Rock'n'Roll preserve, Virgo Bats & Leo Phrogs and the Adirondack Coffee Co., as
well as various Eagles Club and American Legion shows, shows through the Rice
Mountain promotional group in Abany, NY and The Westcott Community Center, and
have shared the stage with national touring acts including The Youth Ahead,
Sarcasm and Pick an Exit. Our most recent release was in the fall of 2004,
entitled "The Every Scar Tells a Story EP" and we also released "LIFE DEATH
ROCK" in August 2003. Our website and mp3's from ESTaS can be found at

D F S
http://www.myspace.com/dontfeedsatan

bandbio:
D F S is from Utica, NY and contains former members of Malice In Underland (Ox),
Ground Floor (Mark & Brandon), and No CLue(Josh & Ox). The group formed in
October of 2004 under the name DriftingFromShore. After welcoming Rob(Malice In
Underland) in April of 2005, and the decision to officially change the name, the
band became unstoppable. Ox joined the band in mid June to "round out" the
already versatile sound and from there the band exploded onto the scene with
their intense stage show and mesmerizing song-writing capabilities. After
winning the 2005 WOUR BATTLE OF THE BANDS things really started to pick up. Just
recently the local paper, The Observer Dispatch, featured DFS on the cover of
their "Weekend Plus" and "Fusion" newspapers as well as an in depth article
dicussing our recent good fortunes. This was an awesome experience for us and
the article is available online at http://www.observerdispatch.com. We're currently in
the process of writing new material.
D F S just recently returned from Albany, performing at Norhtern Lights in
Clifton Park, NY and is set to be returning in the near future.

bandbio:
Formed in 2004 by AJ Cole, former frontman of Inborn and noted solo artist,

Deftones and Breaking Benjamin. With vocals in the vein of Aaron Lewis, AJ has
rounded out the rest of TTV with Syracuse-area musicians Steve Remp on drums,
Josh Sherman on bass, Brad Baker and BJ Carter on guitars.

After months of practicing and writing TTV is ready to create their path of
destruction. Already signed to indie label Red Steel Records, TTV maintains
their positive attitude and willingness to succeed, expecting even more of this
band than previous endeavors. Nothing is going to stand in this five-some's way.

After a summer of touring Torment the Vein will release their debut album
"Perfect" in August 2005 on Red Steel Records.
