Two of our favorite covers we play for bar sets..

Figured we'd record them while we had the mics up for Hiding From Him...

One is a classic Bob Marley and The Wailers tune, their first hit..

The Other, a catchy little Errol Dunkley tune...

Slackers and Toasters, in Buffalo coming up soon!!

Me too.

Plus, it'd be nice to get them back to Syracuse while people are still interested in them. But that's more up to them than me. My offer to book them almost anytime has never been taken off the table ...

I really liked your cover of the song especially the jazzy guitar solo. it's one of my favorite early wailers songs, written by bob in 64, it was sung by Junior Braithwaite just before he quit the group to move to the US to pursue a medical career in Chicago. ras a

Not sure why but my reply seems to have been deleted. i'll try again:

It wasn't deleted. You posted it under the "Looking for artist name" thread instead of on this one. When you're logged in, you can hit that little "x" button next to the "edit" button and delete it yourself.

Ernst Ranglin played on the orginal I believe...

Awesome player, one of the few early Jamacian jazz musicians taken seriously outside of Jamacia...
