Hide the women & children -- Axis of Evil is coming to town!

Sun, Jan 15th -- PUBLIC ACCESS (Albany ska-punk), AXIS OF EVIL (Massachusetts ska-punk), HOBO SLOBO & THE STRONG ARMED JUGNUTS (Syracuse jug band extraordinaire), MAGIC GOAT (Syracuse ska upstarts) at UCF Underground in Syracuse. All ages, $7 cover, show from 6-10pm. For more info call 315-863-6013. Presented by Kingston Beat Productions.

This will be the last local show for Magic Goat for awhile, since they're all headed back off to college and Hobo Slobo will be debuting a special new "ska" song that promises to be quite memorable (sexual innuendo done utilizing ska band names). This will be a show to remember. :P

I am glad you ginally got the lineup on this all sorted out.

I'm so excited about the lineup that we got for PA and AoE here. Ghost Tales are AMAZING.

I dunno. I was at a show the same day as having a wisdom tooth pulled. Pain killers can do wonders.

Katie and Toby and I signed those flyers yesterday. The ones outside the Westcott cinema and the UCF.

In what order is everyone playing?

I know MG is playing first...and we'll try to start as close to 6 as possible (tho we all know how hard it is at getting everyone to start on time :P )

That was a pretty fun show. I left after AOE because I wasn't feeling well. The two bands I saw though were really cool. AOE sounds a lot better live, I was suprised. All in all, it was a good show...just wish I felt better.

ONCE AGAIN, THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR HELPING MAKE A GREAT SHOW TONIGHT!!!

All the bands tonight played really well, we had an awesome turnout and it was so refreshing to be back in Syracuse where the ska kids DANCE to the all the bands. :P

Magic Goat started the show off in style. I'm so happy how they're getting tighter and tighter every time. Axis of Evil went 2nd and I agree with everyone else, they were a very happy surprise. Their mp3s really don't do them proper justice. Hobo Slobo went next and stole the show, as usual. I know the out of town bands were really impressed with them too. And that song, "Ska Girls Are Easy" really made the night. We're getting that one recorded, I promise.

And of course, Public Access rocked us as only they can do. It was nice to see Derek of RazSum join them on "Another Day in Paradise" and the Slayer encore was just classic. And "God Save The Scene" is one of my all-time favorite songs. :D

Thanks to Justine for working the door and Steven Parker for honoring us with his presence and UCF for being such gracious hosts as usual and for all the kids tonight who DANCED.
