The last ska show ever at the Knitting Factory in Manhattan in Monday 12/29. The club is closing its present location and relocating to Brooklyn. Should be worth the drive down from upstate.

It sucks that the last ska show at the Knitting Factory is completely awful.

I don't know what bands make that worth the drive (that took me about 8 hours from Cuse to NYC)

This sounds like a great show with the Void, the Allstonians, Westbound, Django and the Bluebeats...


looks like I'm going to NYC for the new year a few days early.

I've seen like 6 of them a mile away from me.
Don't need to drive that far to see them again.

I went to the Three Floors on Nov 1st. It wasn't the event that I've heard of before. I did get to see Deal's Gone Bad for the first time and I always like seeing the Toasters. It was my first time hearing the Void Union, definitely a band to check. Hub City was alright. I saw Royal City Riot at a little place on the East Side, they're pretty sweet. I would like to see Westbound, but I won't be around for this event. Aren't the Toasters playing? It be sick to see Skannotto at the Knitting Factory, too bad I won't make it.

That place gets crowded too, hope the new place is bigger, and closer to me, but I bet it will end up in Williamsburg.
