Has anybody ever made a Zombie costume??

I've read some different posts about how to make one. Mostly it looks like you take an old suit / tie, tear it up, rub it in dirt, etc. Then of course, there's the makeup.

But honestly, I feel like i'd fail at it... Has anybody put one together before? i'd love some tips...

well you can take an old shirt and tie, rub it around in some dirt and dog shit, maybe tear it up a little bit, then apply some make up and fake blood. and then you'll have a super original costume.

i dunno- its a zombie costume man! go watch evil dead, 28 days later, or skarmy of darkness, wait till a zombie pops up, press pause, imitate. bang- instant ramen noodles.

haha trust me, i've seen all the movies. I even know exactly what I want it to look like, but that doesnt make me any good at actually creating it. I guess thinking of making it and actually making it are two different things, and i dont want to screw it up too badly.

'Just looking for anybody whos ever made an original costume like this, pros and cons and additional tips.

for makeup It should look pretty zombie like if you have most all your face white with quite large darker areas around your eyes to add that "dead" look.

Just take any clothes. rip the shit out of them. make blood. bleed on them.
Gashes on your face. Look like a heroin addicts. blood on face and lips.
