It totally reminds me of the old Styleens downtown and I have a feeling thats intentional. Planet 505 never really made a serious effort to fix the place up and then they seemed surprised that it became a hippie hangout for awhile.
But don't you agree that Metro Lounge is seriously underutilized? I'm sure they have good nights, but most times I look in the window there is a sparse crowd, even for the live music. And I have a hard time believing they intended this. They just seem to lack a niche to call their own so far ...
