I don't ever really post here, and these shows definitely aren't ska shows. But hey, I figured I'd list them anyway, in the event that some folks here might have an interest in what's going on.

Tuesday, July 1st

SUICIDE NOTE (Midwest noisemakers, super rare performance seeing as they tour.. um.. never)
THE SIDEKICKS (cool melodic punk stuff from OH)
GHOST TOWN TRIO (rad No Idea-style punk from OH)
MAYFLOWER (Teddy Texas... the one we all know and love)

* O'Pioneers had to drop... bummer

Hopefully I'll be there Wednesday. Will most likely be at Attica Attica as well. Everyone support these shows.

p.s. Hex, I met your girlfriend in school today hah. She was doing the Peace Council table.

I met somebody from The Network at a party once. Seemed like a cool dude.

Thanks for the positive remarks. To be honest, I wasn't sure if these shows were going to be up people's alley (considering this forum revolves around ska/reggae music). But it's all good to me.
To address these comments:
1.) Yes, Attica! Attica! is quite awesome. It's like listening to Marathon if it was just Aaron... which it basically is.
2.) Yes, I sing for Mistletoe and I always look that blurry when we play. We actually just put some new music up on our site if anyone is interested (myspace.com/mistletoe315)
3.) My girlfriend does indeed do some Peace Council/ Anti-Military Recruitment stuff around town, in addition to about a million other activist-oriented things and it's pretty cool.
4.) If I met a dude from The Network at a party I'd wait around just to see when he eventually donned a lightshade as a hat and put his head through a table. I can imagine those dudes being party monsters.
