Im hosting a show, well...my band is hosting a show, if anyone would like to come down, its 5$ at the door, and it would be wonderful if i could give these bands some gas money for going to oswego to play, plus, you get to see us fight a giant robot!

And the Skannotto release party, which has been listed since January.

Otherwise, I'd probably check this out.

I booked the Westcott for the 18th quite awhile ago. This just happens sometimes. It's unfortunate, but it happens. But better to have a lot of good choices than none at all, right? :D

that much is true. I hope i can set up another show soon, and one without a conflicting schedule this time, so all the awesome kids from syracuse can come and have a good time. :-) glad to see some positive feedback tho, its always reassuring :-)

Feel free to contact me sometime via booking@razsum.com about booking Razbari Sumthing to a show in Oswego. They'd love to play up there, if someone would simply ask. We've had some interest from kids at SUNY Oswego, but nothing definite yet.

Its in everyone's interest that you succeed booking ska in Oswego. We have a lot of local ska bands in Syracuse itching to play out of town and Oswego is conveniently close. :D

well i guess that the whole "its a dirty job, but someone has to do it" would apply here  I'll see what I can do. I have access to a couple of different venues, its usually just the upfront cost. But, this is just the first of hopefully many shows in oswego at Red Planet, The Knights of Columbus, The Foundry....etc... ill be in contact, im just going to need bands that i know will draw a crowd and Raz Sum would do that nicely.

feel free to contact me if you're in a band, or if you book a band, that and im a nice guy :-)

ill see if i can set up another show at Red Planet, because its a cool venue, and hopefully the new Ska Haven of Oswego

NIIIIIIIIICK!!

Turns out that I'll be in town this weekend after all. (Meaning the 10th, 11th & 12th) I've got work on Saturday night, and then I actually get to go to the radio show on Sunday night (for once), but other than that I'm free.

Wanna get together? Even if we just meet somewhere for lunch or something that'd be way rad.

Heh.. Okay. So I know that days and conversations run together for both of us, but I'm pretty sure we were talking and I told you that I originally was gonna go down to Philly this weekend...

Then I wasn't..

But apparently now I am again...

We thought that Steve Parker was playing bass for No One's Hero. But I guess now he isn't, though I'm still not quite clear on that. (wtf steve???)

At ANY rate. Johnny and I have decided that it'd be best to play it safe, so I guess I'm hitching a ride with Aaron of The Emersons while he goes down with the wifey to Atlantic City to see The Pogues. I'm going down so that I can work with NOH to learn the bass lines for all the songs on the new EP. (They've got a show in Baltimore next Saturday that I guess now I'm playing with them..)

We're leaving around 3:30 tomorrow afternoon..

Long story short: I'll be out of town and won't be able to meet with you tomorrow.

Can we go back to our original plan of Monday night??
<3
