In The Face -- ska-punk-rock from Lowell, Massachusetts

Fri, Mar 10th -- IN THE FACE (Lowell MA ska-punk-rock), DALY'S GONE WRONG (Bronx NY ska-hardcore-punk), THE SECRET IONS (Syracuse ska-punk-reggae), THE BASTARDS (Spencer from Hobo Slobo and Derek & Mike from RazSum) at UCF Underground in Syracuse. All ages, $7 cover, doors at 7:30pm, music from 8-11pm. Kingston Beat Productions.

We hope to announce the TBA this Tuesday. Two possibilities, both very cool. :D

It's as yet undecided, depends on what bands the people who show up are most interested in.

No dude, unless the show is starting earlier than expected, The Bastards are definitely playing first due to the fact that I have a gig in Hanover Square that I can't arrive at any later than 8:45.

The Bastards need to play first, because all 3 of them have other gigs that same night. Then it'll be Daly's Gone Wrong, then In The Face and The Secret Ions will go last. It's just not fair to an out of town band playing a city for the first time to go last.

But please note this show is running later than our usual shows!!!

Doors at 7:30pm and music from 8-11pm. We need to work around the needs of UCF. :D

The Secret Ions are veryyyy pumped for this show...we'll be playing all our old favorites as well as 2 or 3 brand new songs which we cannot wait for you guys to hear. Everyone should go!

Another AMAZING show tonight!!!! :P

The Bastards were pretty funny and entertaining. I've always loved Daly's Gone Wrong, in part because I also like hardcore (yes, it's true). Several kids specifically mentioned their happiness at hearing some decent hardcore tonight. :wink:

In The Face was the great unknown factor tonight and they'll definitely be back. Highly entertaining, very ska and the kids went crazy for them. Nice guys too (even if they're lousy with directions, haha). The Secret Ions closed the night nicely with a mix of old and new songs and a few surprises (tuba!?!?).

Very fun show. Thanks again to everyone for coming out and sharing a good time! :D
