I just got back from tonight's show at the UCF and I wanted to say a few things here. First of all, I want you all to know how amazing you really are. There are few musical scenes that are as supportive as i've known you all to be. It is a pleasure and an honor to play for people who enjoy music and friendships as much as you do.

We had a few member missing earlier, yes...but I was blown away by the tremendous support and caring from everybody there. Huge props to all the bands that played. I've never felt as connected to a group of listeners as I am with all of you. All I can do is keep playing the songs you love and have fun. That's what it's all about right?!

To each and every one of you who reads this board. You are what makes this music special and unforgettable. Please keep that in mind and keep enjoying what we're doing in RazSum...we play for you guys with great respect and caring, I wouldn't have it any other way.

In other words, THANK YOU.

much respect & love,
Derek

p.s. I have a new respect for all you drummers out there. That shit's a workout.

Yeah, the guys in Not On Track were blown away by the kids at the show and just our scene in general. I guess things in Buffalo are just different.

Major props to RazSum for their "the show must go on" attitude when they had no drummer available tonight. Most bands would have backed out, but not these guys. Same thing the weekend before in CT and NYC. Bands were cancelling left and right because of the blizzard, but RazSum played on. I love these guys. :D

Tonight was wonderful on every level. Thanks everyone!!!

Yes, what joanna says is true, blueberry pancakes are delicious.

Just to clarify though, we're not changing our name or anything like that. We're just in between drummers right now. Please stay posted for further updates!

Blueberry Pancakes was a joke started by Kicking Sicily last night, how they supposedly couldn't remember the name Razbari Sumthing. It just became a running gag the rest of the night.

Like most ska bands with large lineups, RazSum doesn't always have all members available for shows. Derek drummed last night, but we don't expect that to be a regular thing. At least Derek is much better at it then Mike was that one show at the coffeehouse (sorry Mike!). Derek has played guitar now and then. Its pretty cool, actually. :D
