And it should be pointed out that show is part of the tour promoting IVFK new non-ska album. Don't be surprised if they play no ska at all on that show. They might, but I wouldn't count on it.

Just a fair warning.

At the ASOB CD release, it was about half and half. But that was probably aimed at placating the crowd that was present.

could be karen. the night before was the same exact set, but the crowd was generally the same because again it was a ska show. this being a pop-punk show, i'd expect them to play to that audience (read as: it's probably not worth going).

Now, I know this is a ska messageboard and all, but just because IV4K doesn't any longer fit your fancy, I wouldn't go as far as saying this show is "not worth going to" if you're into any music except ska. Jupiter Sunrise is a very solid band and their live show is one of the best I've ever seen.

Everyone here is into music other than ska. But yes, we discuss ska here and the comments reflect that this isn't really a ska show, no more or less than that. It doesn't mean we think the show is "not worth going to" in general, but just not as a ska show. Jupiter Sunrise is a solid band, definitely. But we all figure the show was posted here because of IVFK being on it and we're merely commenting on that part of it. I think that I can honestly say we all support live music here, even if its not always our choice of bands playing. :D

Oh trust me, I have no intentions of ever going to a show solely for IV4K again.

Yeah I wasn't trying to imply that everyone only listens to ska here or anything like that. All I was saying is that it seems IVFK has a somewhat tarnished image in the ska community, and I'm hoping that people aren't going to be that turned off by them to throw a 'cold shoulder' to the rest of the show. I don't think people would, but it never hurts saying something. I didn't mean to come off like you guys were some sort of "ska elitist". Sorry for any misunderstanding, take care.
