This was brought up by Travis of Hub City Stompers when he called Jake "the new ginger version of Matt Wixson". I personally think that's not far off the mark, though it is probably impossible to be quite as whacked as Matt Wixson, though I'll give Jake style points for working on it. :thumbup:

Seriously, Jake does wacky acoustic ska-punk, though none of his songs have quite matched the lyrical genius that is Matt Wixson. Yet. :study:

Danny, you should've seen Wixson play with the Forthrights backing him. Wixrights laid it down!

That must have been something to see!!

Maybe we can get Matt to come play with The Forthrights this spring? They intend to hit Syracuse early and often in 2011. :rambo:
