June 11: Molly Hatchet and Los Blancos

Note: These bands are filling in for Dicky Betts and Great Southern

Named after a 17th century axe murderess who beheaded her lovers, this hard-pounding band out of Jacksonville, Fla. helped birth the Southern Rock genre that emerged in the 1970s, along such acts as the Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Molly Hatchet is a band that after 28 years is always workin' hard, playin' tough, livin' fast, and still Flirtin' with Disaster.Los Blancos, performing “Roots, Zydeco, Funk & Roll” opens.
June 18: Cracker and Old '97s

This band's pop punk power has garnered eight albums including one platinum and three gold.
June 25: Medeski, Martin & Wood

A trio from D.U.M.B.O. (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), arrives to create hypnotic sounds brimming with improvisation and harmony.
July 2: CJ Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band; Skycoasters; Buddahood

The kick off Party to THE 4th of July weekend! Featuring CJ Chenier & The Red Hot Louisiana Band, The Skycoasters and Buddhahood! It will be an eclectic night of music with something for everyone.

C.J. Chenier was literally born into the musical tradition of southwest Louisiana and Texas Zydeco, a chugging, accordion-led blend of French Creole and African-derived influences. Born the son of great Zydeco king Clifton Chenier, the first Grammy Award winning musician of his genre, C.J. was totally immersed in R&B, funk and jazz from childhood. Aside from performing and recording with his own ensemble, C.J. has worked with an impressive array of collaborators, including Paul Simon and The Gin Blossoms.

The Skycoasters 10 piece party band have entertained and delighted audiences across the country and around the world. The Skycoasters are a high energy, fun band that always "make the party"!

Multi-instrumental members of The BuddhaHood are sure to cook up a melting-pot of musical innovation, nuance, and pure groove power. The band's original style has been coined "World-ternative". Audiences hear reggae, calypso, samba, afro-beat, funk, blues, and rock at every dance-inducing performance.
July 9: Good Rats, Average White Band

One of the best soul and funk bands in the history of music, promises to win over the crowd. Best known for their mega-hit “Pick up the Pieces,” the band’s strength actually resides in their consistently accomplished song-writing. Their talents are stretched across several gold-selling albums and multi-Grammy nominations for the legendary Atlantic Records. The band’s latest release, “Soul and the City,” showcases the breadth and depth of the band’s material.
July 16: Michael Franti & Spearhead

At the height of their artistic powers this group is certain to bring a powerful and passionate approach to their performance. Michael Franti has conveyed deeply felt music for over 20 years, whether it be punk rock, rap or modern soul. Recently his latest release entered the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and hit #4 on the Top Independent Album Chart.
July 23: Badfish - a tribute to Sublime and Scotty Don't

The phenomenon known as Sublime, arguably the most energetic, original and uniquely eclectic band to emerge from any scene, anywhere, ended with the untimely death of lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Brad Nowell in May of 1996. But encompassing the sense of place and purpose long associated with Sublime’s music, Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime continues to channel the spirit of Sublime with a fury not felt for some time. What separates Badfish from other tribute bands is that they have replicated Sublime’s essence, developing a scene and dedicated following most commonly reserved for label-driven, mainstream acts. Badfish make their mark on the audience by playing with the spirit of Sublime. They perform not as Sublime would have, or did, but as Badfish does.
July 30 headliners are to be announced June 27
August 6: Gov't Mule

The series ends with a Rocheseter area favorite. Gov’t Mule balances evocative songs and expressive improvisation during the evening. Founded in 1994 as a power-trio, Gov’t Mule has, over the course of eight studio albums, several more live projects, and over 1,300 concert performances, built both an extensive, evolving body of work and a devoted fan base. In addition, the band has sold 1.5 million downloads on its Web site mule.net, sold over one million albums and received a Grammy nomination.
