The westcott is going to have to work out a deal w/ the born again church/dayhab next door to use their back parking lot for their artists tourbus/van w/ trailers parking
the other day they took up the entire street's parking spaces and that's not very nice to the potential customers of retail/rests. on the street.

When they were applying for their permits, this was a major issue. A lot of promises were made this very type of thing wouldn't happen. Feel free to contact the Westcott Theater directly about it, as posting here won't get to them. I have absolutely no reason to believe they look at this messageboard.

BTW, why did you interject SubCat into this? They have nothing to do with the Westcott Theater, other than doing a show there recently that could not have caused the problems you're talking about -- somehow, I suspect you're referring to the show last Friday.

oh i thought from the sign out front it was their showcase concert.

Apparently, the merchants called the cops, but they couldn't find anyone in charge inside the theater or outside anywhere.

Now the merchants are passing around a petition about this. I was asked to sign it, but declined.

The theater and the merchants definitely need to sort this out and I'm sure they will. Everyone wants the theater to succeed, but just not at the expense of the other businesses on Westcott Street. I'm sure they can all work it out.

too bad they didn't try a conversation before petitioning.
