What a great set tonight!

I also love the girl singer and the whole 60s ska flashback. This band reminds me a LOT of the former Amy Ryan & the Operatives. The girl even looks a lot like Amy and about the same singing style. Its funny too how I know everyone in this band really well except her. It was wild to see Alex Stern again (former WBT, Mass Hysteria, The Sterns) and Jesse sang a couple songs!!

Also met some new SU ska kids and of course, ran into Allison. A good night.

It really was a great show, me and my girlfriends went out to get some drinks beforehand and then went and danced until about 1ish. Rubblebucket was amazing!!! It cleared out a lot by there second set so it was awesome having room to dance :-P

It was also nice to see Jesse!! It's been forever! I miss Westbound! :-(

Yeah, I think they expected a lot fewer people, which must of been why they didn't take out any of the tables or chairs, which was annoying. Those SU freshman ska kids also found it annoying, but I assured them we'll remove the furniture for our upcoming shows there.

Just so you know, Jesse isn't in WBT anymore. But, he'll be drumming for The Toasters there in November and there's a pretty good chance The Void Union will be back at Funk'n Waffles before that.

Hayley Jane is a cool jazz-style singer, don't ya think? I especially enjoyed her version of "My Boy Lollipop".
