Is this a last minute show?

Also, I must say, that's an interesting gimmick of "half price" w/ flier.

I played there not too long ago. Really cool venue, nice sound and everything, but not a lot of kids were there.

I've been there a few times for ska shows. I'm hoping the same guy doesn't still own it or else has learned to take better care of bands. I've known a lot of bands that avoid the Penny Arcade like the plague.

I dunno if i'd call it last minute, we have been planning this for awhile, but the original line up we had for the show changed drastically and it wasn't till today that we finally had a solid list of bands that would definetly play.

What do you mean when you say some bands avoid the penny? What's wrong with it?

Like I said, I have no idea if its the same owner or not. But the owner and venue have been famous for many years for pocketing almost 100% of the door and having every excuse in the world justifying it, even when the turnout has been really good.

They are under completely new management. I know Grimey (one of the sound guys at the Bug Jar, and a local musician himself) bought it at one point, I'm not sure if he's still running it or not. I think several of the folks who used to run it are actually dead now.

One of my friends used to drag me To the Penny Arcade all the time to see some shitty metal band. Its a cool venue, but ive never seen it with that many people. Wish I could make it to your show though!
