I'm just going to post this.

We're (for the most part) done. We have a graduation party scheduled in August that we probably wont even be playing. Just personal differences and lack of interest in general along with one of our "front kids" going to college this fall is too much for us to really keep this going. We may try to do one last hoorah when Bob gets back from germany or something but i wouldnt hold me to that.

Thanks to the dudes/dudettes that came out, clapped, skanked and supported us.

Thank you Johanna and Danny for booking us even though we really werent worth it.

Who knows maybe one of us will start another ska band.

JOE!
The gnardudes.

you guys really had something, and this is pretty disappointing. i understand your reasons, dont get me wrong. i thought you guys were the next big thing. you guys played great, high energy shows and you had awesome material. its a shame that we might not hear it again.

this more applies to me, than the whole band.
I had more guitar equipment issues than anyone I know
and I didn't know what I was playing a lot in the beginning.

Well yeah, I broke one while tuning. Then my distortion pedal died or was on the verge of it, so the tones were all off and shitty. Then when Miles played one of the songs on the guitar, he broke Dave's string.. then I just played acoustic.

You should actually make a point of us putting you onstage to do that, instead of always doing it out in alley in front of Funk'n Waffles during shows. You obviously enjoy it and people want to see it, so why not?

let me iterate (without the re-), i had a blast doing this, and i've been doing this in different variations of bands for the past 5 years now (about)?
these shows have been like a second home for me- from playing op-ivy style tributes to Jamie Talucci's jack russel terrier, to the Ions first show at the wanoa, and finally this last year-long stint in the Gnarwhals, it was all such an awesome opportunity, and all i can say is:

I'll be back!
