Join us for a fun filled night of a prom-themed ska show!!

Anyone who lives in NY, Ridgefield CT is only an hour away from NYC and Long Island.

Suggest some bands that would draw you out? We already have a few in mind but a few more couldn't hurt.

You've heard my input dearie. Like I told you would probably happen, when I told Sara about it, she sounded pretty down for heading up there for this. She just wants an excuse to wear a prom dress.

My boyfriend is required to withstand 3 proms in one week, I'll be surprised if he doesn't kill me by the end.

I tried to do something like this at the Westcott back in March 2001. I had mock champagne in the little plastic champagne glasses and an all-trad lineup. I tried to get kids to dress up, but most dressed goofy, a la early Bosstones.

Johanna suggested the idea again last year and that we have it at WaNoa, which really would make a ton of sense. We could dress up the tables with candles and include a dinner menu and have some bands play afterwards. That room looks awesome when the light is shining in off the golf greens. Anyone interested?

If it took place before I left for the summer, I'd probably be game Danny. Especially if it took place during my study break during which my girlfriend will be in Ithaca and, like I said earlier, she jumps at any opportunity to wear a prom dress. But, this seems like something that would probably take a little more planning, so it would probably end up being during the summer when i'm in NYC.

For some odd (or maybe not so odd) reason that ska prom thing at wanoa sounds like it would be alot of fun.

there was a "ska formal" near my school that a kid set up last year. i was unable to attend but the turnout was amazing(sold out the hall, 150ish kids), and almost everyone dressed at least nice casual if not dressed up completely
