As far as Ska/Reggae?
The Skatalites in Rochester for Jazz Fest, June 20, FREE -- This same show in Ithaca is July21st with Void Union..which I wish I was seeing but its the same day as MMW
Deals Gone Bad in the 'Cuse. in July, $$

Non-Ska:
Boris?? TBD
Soulive, June 20th
Medeski, Martin, Wood - June 21st- Rochester JazzFest, FREE
Asylum Street Spankers - earlier the same day as Deals in Rochester, $$
Yonder Mountain SB, David Sanborn, Zappa Plays Zappa, MOFRO, maybe others - all free, buffalo in the Park

PLus some more TBD i am sure...hopefully Vic Solo...others...

yeah i thought the grand ska council got together a while ago and made a decree that the term "...-wave" was to never be used again under punishment of death.

BTW when is this here Boris show happening? anywhere close to here....... I missed them and OM play a show together by 1 day last time I visited San Fransicisco.....

They are sort of back?

They made this big announcement on myspace and CTSka and then dropped off the face of the Earth and then they are playing this one show on Long Island, I would try to contact them and see.
