Really like this idea!
Of course, it helps that it's in Long Beach, California and basically co-sponsored by some of the more active scooter clubs and one of the better known trad ska DJs in the LA area. This venue looks like The Palace in Eastwood, but half the size, which is a good thing for a niche event like this. And the place serves wine and coffee and is all ages, so its a good setup for a diverse crowd.
I could see us pulling off something like this at Funk'n Waffles later in the year when they hope to have a wine and beer license.
