We're being asked to take:

* The Toasters
* The Pietasters
* Mustard Plug
* Bomb The Music Industry!
* Flatfoot 56

This would be a Friday night in mid-November. Its an expensive package, so we'd have to price it $16 advance, $18 day of show. We'd probably be doing this at the Ukrainian National Home.

Good idea or not?

We have to say yes or no in a few days -- thanks!

Definitely not a joke. And I'll take your other comment to mean you'd be fine with $16/$18. We've just never priced a show that high before, which is why it makes us very nervous.

For the record, we got asked to do something like this last year and we took a pass for fear of the ticket price.

You're okay with the ticket price as well? That's the big issue on this.

This would be an amazing show, and I'd definitely be willing to pay 18 bucks to see it. I'd even try to take a train home from college to go see this.

What a weird/awesome package. I have a feeling this tour won't come to Michigan, though, because Mustard Plug's awesome package tours never come through their home state. Well, except their CD release weekend. That was awesome.

At first, I was like "Holy shit!"

But I don't know if I'd pay $16/$18 to see the Pietasters.

I would pay it - the ukranian home...is that the same place as polski? - the sound at the aggros was um.....substandard. sorry, kingston beat. respect what you do and how difficult it can be to pull together...but if its the same sound, I can't pay gas, tolls, and 16 dollas to come and barely hear/understand these bands.

but if that is not the case....its a great lineup.

Smaller hall on the other side of town and much nicer. Polski is just way too big for concerts, no argument. The Ukrainian Home has much better acoustics and a better atmosphere. And because its on Tipperary Hill, its walking distance to a lot of cool Irish pubs.

that sounds really awesome. obviously anything you could do to cheapen the price would be bonus.... but i would pay $18 for this.
