BTW, I'm still recruiting people to play this event as well. I have numerous people getting back to me on this, including Steve Terry and Rory Edwards and maybe even Franceska from 560 Allen, among others.

I'm also gonna see if we can do the barbeque at 560 Allen, as that'd be very convenient. :thumbup:

You know, thanks to you I will now work on incorporating Joseph McCarthy into the list of public figures with a place in Matt Wixson lore. I'll have to find a good way to spin it, but he's a pretty strong figure.

Yeah, she forwarded it to me. Just give her some contact info on them so she can contact them directly and alleviate any possible confusion, okay? :cyclops_ani:

BTW, the barbeque will be at Recess Coffee on the front porch. They've just started doing Sunday afternoon vegan barbeques and have a killer grill for it that they said we can use for this. As a compromise, I'd say bring anything vegetarian to grill for July 4th, but no meat -- the carnivores can take a day off. Its a vegan coffeehouse and they'll tolerate dairy products, but we're not going to grill meat on this grill, which I think is more than fair. But bring boca burgers or veggie patties or green peppers or corn on the cob or something along that line. It also has a side burner where we can boil salt potatoes. :thumbup:

Yeah, he should just drive from Detroit for it, as gas has gotten really cheap lately. :blackeye:
