I'm friends with some awesome dudes in a punk band from Saratoga Springs called SUGAR EATER. They're currently booking a short tour (for them, that is) and I'm pretty sure they'd like to play a show in Syracuse. I'm not sure if you can help them at all, Danny, but I thought I'd bring it up any way just to see what everyone thinks.

Jay, didn't you meet Nick Social (the guitarist) at Public Access' last show in Syracuse? I think Nick told me that you even introduced him to Danny.. Yes?

Anyway, if you're interested give them a listen. They just released a new CD. They're all super rad guys, and good friends of mine. It'd be great if there was anyone who lurks on this forum interested in helping them out.

i heard these guys not too long ago, and they're pretty rad.

Great band. Nick is a really nice dude and does a lot for the scene here. Sorta strange that we both played around the same tiny scene for years and I wound up running into him for the first time in Syracuse. I've somehow never managed to catch a live set, but I love their recorded stuff. I told Danny at that show that they'd be great for a Kingston Beat spot, hopefully it'll come together.

short tour?
this band has 2 months worth of TBA dates

They normally go on the road for 4 or 5 months at a time, going across the country. That's why the tour they're booking now is short.. for them at least.
