Syracuse Ska Forum

I am working with a New Orleans based record label called Community Records. Some of you may be familiar with this label. They released Public Access's most recent and last record, Hindsight. The label is run by Greg of Fatter Than Albert. Basically, he's putting together a compilation for the label and wants it reviewed in as many zines, websites, etc. as possible. If anyone runs a zine or website and wants to review this compilation please PM me! Leave me your email and address so I can get you a copy! Thanks!

If someone semi-knowledgeable wants to write a review for this and other new albums, I wouldn't mind adding an album review section to Syracuse Ska. But I'm not going to do that unless the reviews are fairly well written -- deal?

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking Matt Wixson or Tom Moughan could manage this, for example.

i think that thats a great idea. not everyone can be all over every album, so if something good comes out, people could know.

I'm trying to get people to write shit for MichiganSka.com. My aim is to have a blog-style news page with contributions from lots of people, mostly reviews, interviews, and random opinions related to ska music. So basically, I will NOT write anything for Syracuse Ska. Unless I do.

why not just add a Reviews section where reviews from across the web can be added including those written by forum members?

I want to review something, but I feel as if i'd be a biased reviewer.
