I'm pretty surprised Hillary hasn't done better this election. (Not saying I'd vote for her or anything)

Yeah, she started off as the heir apparent and got sideswiped pretty early on. The bottom line is she ran a really poor campaign, for whatever reason. I see some people blaming Mark Penn, but she hired him and took his advice. And paid him $13 million for the honor.

I was happy to vote for Hillary as my US Senator, but the way she has run her presidential campaign has been embarrassing at best and scandalous at worst. I'm really glad to see she won't be the nominee, because I'm tired of the Democrats seizing defeat from the jaws of victory. :aaargh:

My friends mom is an adviser to Hitlary and was an adviser to Spitzer.....which makes sense since her daughter is a bitch slore.

Oh and Spamalot ruled on Broadway, especially WITHOUT Clay Aiken.

It does get kind of annoying sometimes that the democratic primary does seem to continue on forever but I've come to appreciate it in a way since we atleast know that the nominee wasn't rushed to be chosen and the right nomination will have been made by the end of it.

I just want to see the Clinton people enthusiastically embrace Obama when this is all over. It amazes me on a certain level that the Clinton people are bragging that they've sewn up the redneck vote -- when did that become a virtue?

Like you have a high percentage of West Virginians that openly admitted to pollsters they won't vote for a black person for President. I'm not sure which is more embarrassing -- that they claim to be Democrats or that they claim to be Americans? :rambo:

How about the 26,000 Democrats (at least I assume Democrats - I don't think WV is an open primary) who apparently couldn't bring themselves to vote for a black man or a woman, and voted for John Edwards?

An interesting point, although its also possible many of them didn't realize he'd dropped out. I'm not sure its a big state for following the news.

I doubt it - I mean, he did drop out nearly five months ago.
