Well ive been in this band for a few months, we've only really started to get shit down with a full band for like a month or less. This is the result so far. Opinions and critiques please.

I could back this, with an awesome vocalist this would be sweet.

Money Tree sounds like something that is already existing, but shit everything sounds the same now a days anyways.

Thanks, does it sound ska-y enough to you? idk to me it sounds more like punk with a sax tossed in randomly.

Like I've said, Ska f*ck sucks.

First song is pretty cool and I can dig it. It reminds me of a Pressure Cooker instrumental cd I have.

it sounds like every other major key ska song i've ever heard. that could be good or bad depending on what you're going for.

it sounds like it was recorded with a mic shoved in a shoe box under a pile of blankets.
:)
i like your band name "run joe" is a classic ska song about a guy caught w/ another mans wife who has to run w/ his pants in his hand.

money tree sounds like no one is playing in time with anyone else
banana chips sounds much better and tighter.

i think you guys sound fine keep it up always great to have new bands in the region.

Yeah, except this is a reference to Back to the Future, when the Libyans kill Doc Brown.

Wow thanks, didn't think the feedback would be this good, im feeling alot more confident about this band now lol.

And yea the name is a reference to bttf, although the actual line was "run for it marty!", but me and my friend always misquoted it as just run marty, which sounds better as a band name anyhow.

Sounds like the guitar is playing ska chords just not exactly the standard upstroke, but it sounds cool that way, still has an off-beat effect.

Money Tree kinda reminds me of the B. Lee Band, the first cd, with that lone sax sound.

Cool to know new Rochester bands are going, the scene had kinda died down. I tried to start a ska band with some bros but no one liked playing ska.

Kinda sounds like us lol, i think im the only one in this band that really likes ska. My guitarist keeps insisting its just punk with horns and that he doesn't have to do upstrokes.

Well if we are trying to be a ska band and someone doesn't want to play ska that poses a slight problem. Thats like, say a drummer for a jazz band wanted to hardcore beats only.
