This hasn't really been promoted yet, but Against Me! is playing the Schine Underground next Wednesday, the 14th. That's all I really know right now, but I'll hopefully have some specifics later tonight if anyone wants more info.

Chris, does Schine ever advertise ANYTHING? You didn't tell me about that Souls show until like four days before it last year.

I really don't like the new CD. They just don't sound like they used to.

It's growing on me.

My main beef with it isn't the music or the message, it's the production. It sounds way too polished.

I'm on my fourth listen, and I still haven't formed a solid opinion of it yet.

It's pretty good. Typical AM. I haven't really gave it a full listen but from the songs I've listened to it's cool.

Just got back from a meeting about the show.

It's in the Schine Underground.
Doors are at 7:30, show starts at 8.
Tickets are $5 with an SU ID, and $10 without.
There's going to be two openers that haven't been confirmed yet. If we get our first choice of opener, though, this will be an absolutely crazy lineup.

And Danny, Schine doesn't really have anything to do with the shows other than being the venue. We (the concert board) do all of the promotion. The reason things are usually on such short notice is that we get our funding per semester, rather than yearly, which is how most schools do it. This means we can't book shows too far in advance, and thus things are planned last minute. We'd love to have more time to promote, but it usually doesn't work out that way.

If you want to stay updated, the best way will probably be to just ask me periodically! haha

Are there advanced tickets? I have class until six, then I have to get some shit together then drive, so I'd rather get a ticket in advance if possible.

Got word last night that Marathon will be one of the openers!

And tickets will be sold in advance at the Schine box office. My guess is it will sell out before the day of the show, so that would definitely be the way to go.

Now now, anarchists wouldn't want you to buy it! Steal it or download it. Don't pay for a show, sneak in!
