Pretty funny.

I got that hat from Big D at Ska Summit in Las Vegas and promised to wear it every day. And I re-affirmed that promise when Big D played at the Westcott, which made them very happy. I'm pretty anti-brand-names, but I'll happily advertise a ska band.

Now if the Slackers just had some more fashionable clothing, I'd be all over it. I have the grey t-shirt, but its pretty boring. I've been meaning to get the green one, but its just a better-than-average t-shirt. I love the Toasters hat I got from Buck, but its really too small for my big fat head. I had to rip the seam some to get it to fit at all and wearing it gives me headaches, so its rare I even bother. But it looks cool when I do.

What I REALLY want are some cool workshirts. Again, I've had little luck. I got one from Buck, but its ugly (maybe why he let me have it, lol). I really REALLY wanted an "Enemy of the System" workshirt, but he was always out of them and now he no longer stocks them. The Slackers have no such thing. I even tried to get a cool shirt from Mike Park, but everything I wanted he only had left in medium or small.

BTW, I'm really almost anti-Fred Perry. Its cool-looking stuff, don't get me wrong, but since its nasty expensive ($85 and up for a simple polo shirt), it becomes more a symbol of elitism, which I find to be anti-ska. My goal soon is to find some really cool-looking black/white shirts and whatnot that are cheap, but decently made (like maybe something from H&M, for example). THAT I'd find more in the spirit of ska ...

What shirts of Mike Park's did you want? Let me know which ones and size. Johnny just got a TON of stuff in from Mike Park and asked me if I wanted anything. It's mostly Plea For Peace stuff, but Mike sent him other merch as well. And I know that Johnny is selling stuff from his label and what not on Warped Tour as well.
