July 22nd - "Junk" a Japanese zombie gore fest movie. 11:30 pm at the Palace Theatre on James Street in Eastwood. Syracuse, NY. After the 11:30pm screening there will be free movie posters to this summers blockbusters, courtesy from Paramount Studios, Universal and Fox, avail on a huge table for you the movie fans. There is a very limited number of free movie posters. Also, after the screening there may be DVDs to "JUNK" for sale in the theatre lobby.

Description
Finally available in North America. Junk will satisfy all adrenaline junkies and horror aficionados that are looking for a good dose of spills and chills. A gang of thieves are on the run after a successful heist. They make a deal with the local yakuza to sell their stolen jewels at an abandoned army base. Little do they know the government has been experimenting on the dead. The dead rise and it's an all out war between the thieves, yakuza and the army, in a desperate attempt to not only stop the zombies but to stay alive.

Before the "Song of the Dead" screening there will be a raffle/fundraiser for the parents of a friend of mine that passed away not too long ago. 50% of the money raised will go towards his parents and 50% will go towards next years B Movie Film and Video Fest. Huge Cult DVD/ Vintage Movie Poster Sale. There will be over 1000 DVDs for sale starting at a buck and up. Plus, if you are looking for vintage theatrical onesheets from the 60's and up then this is the place to see if I got it for sale. The biggest highlight will be the meet and greet with local filmmakers and a casting/crew call for their future film projects. Filmmakers Ryan Dacko, Tom O' Malley, Josh Reynolds, (Check these filmmakers in myspace friends list), Mike Fitzgerald and Ron Bonk are planning to meet with fans, actors, actresses, potential crew members and musical artists for possible work for their future film. If you are in a band and have a demo disk then stop out and drop it off.
