yeah, so how bout those phenomenauts, i mean, i knew they were great, but i had no idea how great they were until i saw them live. they definetly played one of the best sets i've seen. that was such an amazing show, i could rant for hours about it, but i'll just sum it up in 2 words- utterly stupendous

I got their late and only caught the last song by The Phenomenauts, but it was awesome. The show was freaking sweet. The Aquabats ruled.

Those are really the only words that can desbribe the show. But i suppose "life-altering" would also work.

i wish the aquabats played more old songs...i did enjoy the new songs a lot though live. maybe becuase of the crammed quarters and steamy hot cadet get-up made me want to melt...phemnonauts(sp?) were awesome!!! i saw them at warp tour last year and was the seconf best set i watched. the mc bat commander gave me a spit-five and meeting crash mclarson was awesome

ya, i like the aquabats old stuff way better, too. I was expecting some cool fireworks to honor our nation, but the lazers used by the epoxies were pretty cool, and the toilet paper launching leaf blower! Dear God! You have to be deep space travellers to think of something that sweet!

I totally agree with Dan, that show has changed the way that i live.

No one cares.

As to the show, The Epoxies were terrible in my opinion. The Phenomenauts rocked pretty damn hard. The Aquabats put on a great show, but I really missed their horns. Having the keyboardist playing sax for songs didn't do it for me, as awesome as their set was. Great times with Twitch, Justine and Stephie. Can't wait to see the pics.

They'll be up tomorrow night.

And yes, that show was freakin' sweet. I'm so happy I got to go, and with such cool people too!

Gah! So I didn't end up getting back to my mom's place this weekend to get the pictures from the Aquabats show. I'm so sorry guys, but I'm not gonna be able to have them up until Friday night at the very earliest.

I know that Mike is leaving for Canada on Saturday, so I will burn those pictures to a disk as soon as I get home tomorrow and then I'll bring them here and get them up here ASAP next weekend.

Gosh darn it.

I went with Mark from my band and we had an absolute blast! I can not tell you how infatuated I am with the Phenomanauts now. What an incredible band..... I WANT A JOEBOT HELMET!!! Something funny though, I could have swore that the keyboard player from the Epoxies looked like Eric Stefani. I did some research, and the epoxies are from California, however on their website it did not list the keys player's real name. He did look a TON older than the rest of the band, I mean after Madness and No Doubt, he has to be an old bastard. I checked allmusic and it did not even list Eric as being in Madness. (some help there) It would make sense to for him to have started up a band with another female lead vocalist, but who knows.

The aquabats were funny as hell, ska or not, if you can not say the aquabats are a good band than you just have no idea. The pre production was great, funny as hell....wow is all I can. I wish that every band I knew put that attention to detail into providing a production for their performance.

Can anyone help me on the eric stefani thing?
