Just like danny said big $ shows to try and cover all those income free months of rennovations,,,, $17 at the door for 21 and under for a local reggae band??!!?? what am i missing here.... |

A, what you are missing is...in Rochester there is a WAY OVERPRODUCED commercial about them "...playing from NY all the way to JA..its Giant Panda!" on the commercial radio stations here...charging I believe more than that for a headlining show for them. People are bonkers over them. i think they are passing local status even here and in Syracuse...for some reason. |

giant panda is probably my favorite reggae band but 17 bucks god damn that is ten dollars more than what it was last time i saw them |

Dan Mastronardi said clearly he was going to charge covers this high at the Westcott Theatre. They did well at Funk'n Waffles for half that cover, so it'll be interesting to see how they do at the much higher cover price now. I love the band dearly, but I for one can't justify paying that to see them, but hopefully others won't mind. |
