I'm bummed, I can't go. I have a ticket and everything, but with school and other commitments I can't pull it off. Guess I'll just have to see two of my favorite bands another time.

ska is dead was great! gnar dogs revenge played there best set ever that night and rex banner was on fire! planet smashers played next and tore it so hard. they played a good amaount of old songs and played only like 3 or 4 songs off their new album. toasters went on next(didn't headline? who knows why?) and kicked so much ass. i got too tired and schoolwork made me go home before mustard plug went on. felt like a jerk but i didn't have the will to stay...

I was under the impression Mustard Plug was the headliner for that show. Plus, I've been led to believe they're bigger in Buffalo than the Toasters, not to mention that SID is their idea to begin with.

Likewise, isn't Catch 22 the headliner in Albany?

Yeah, woah, I didn't know they were doing that date. Interesting.

I think the kids ended up liking Planet Smashers the most. A lot of people were into The Toasters and a good amount were left by the time Mustard Plug got on but many had left.

planet smashers in my opinion put on an amazing live show because their music is so good to dance to and radiate a good feeling. i love the toasters to death, but i dont get that radiating feeling feeling from them though...odd huh?

Um, The Toasters are absolutely incredible live. So much energy. At least they were the time I saw them.

The Planet Smashers are a much better live band than they are a studio band for exactly the reasons you stated. They have a good dance beat, but everything sounds exactly the same. I get very bored just listening to them, but love to see them live.

I'm pissed I had to bail before the Toasters, I haven't seen them in almost a year, but the Planet Smashers were worth the drive. Just wish they played "Never Gonna Drink Again."

SID III rocked my world! I missed the Planet smashers because i had to leave in the middle of the show, but i got back in time for the Toasters who i'd never seen live before. They were really amazing, as was mustard plug. This was also the first time i'd seen ore really heard Rex Banner and Gnar Dog's Revenge, but from now on i'll try and catch as many of their shows as i can.

All in all - memorable, and fun as hell. everything a ska show should be
