October 9th at The Downtown in Farmingdale on Long Island - Streetlight Manifesto, The Arrogant Sons of Bitches (record release party FINALLY), Bedouin Soundclash, and Whole Wheat Bread.

Yes, it's worth the drive. And yes, that's where I'll be.

I think he was just letting you know where he would be. If I don't have Naval Science on Monday morning, that's where I'll be too.

and if i hadn't been obnoxious, you probably wouldn't have realized that show was Columbus day weekend, and therefore would have stayed with your previous assumption that you couldn't attend when in fact there is a possibility that you might be able to go. so, in the end, this thread was a success.

Harsh.

Be more specific, or make it happen yourself. :P

i was just playing on your words. reading is fun, i can and so can you so no big deal. however a show in syracuse on columbus day weekend would still be ideal.

Actually I didn't think you were obnoxious at all. I actually thought her response to your post was the obnoxious one.

Well, I knew she meant in Syracuse, so my pointing out a show on Long Island wasn't really necessary. She was a little harsh in reply, but it was all in good fun (i think). It's an internet message board. Not a big deal. Karen, you of all people should know that I dish it out, therefore, I have to be able to take it...

I don't think either of us was acting obnoxious, I mimicked his post. He always posts shows on long island that nobody but him goes to. There is no SNAFU, still situation normal.

Actually, myself, karen, maybe mel, and justine are all going to be at the show i posted or are toying with it. But yeah, i think the only person that wasn't quite viewing the reply as harsh was me...

I'd give my left arm to be at that show...

I don't get it.

It is not okay to say gay but being a complete asshole is acceptable?

Johanna is one big contradiction.

I think you are getting upset at nothing Mike. Considering the only person who needs to care about my original comment understands what I said, unlike the rest of you. Which is fine.

I'm not upset. Far from it. What most people (especially people here) don't realize is that nothing on the internet should be taken seriously. It is the internet. Get over it.

You would know if I was upset. I just think its hypocritical of you.

Well, you're a bit on the late side pointing this out, but we can probably still pull one off. My inclination is to see if we can back up the 10/15 show to 10/8 instead. That would both cover the Columbus Day weekend and keep us from doing a show the weekend of Yom Kippur, which is traditionally a big weekend off for SU kids, among others.

We all need to get in the habit of looking ahead on the calendar and thinking ahead ...
